Looking for your perfect island Treasure? This is your house! Whether relaxing in the glassed-in porch overlooking the large, in ground pool and ocean beyond or strolling down the private boardwalk to the quiet beach of the Isle of Palms, this secluded, oceanfront home is sure to satisfy. Imagine sipping your morning coffee while watching the sun rise from the comfort of your own “window on the world”! The beautifully furnished, glassed-in porch is air conditioned and heated for your comfort and includes a table and ample seating. There is also a sundeck with 2 tables for alfresco dining and plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy a great ocean view!

The first floor features a master bedroom with a King bed, flat panel TV, ocean view, and private access to the glassed in porch. The private master bath has an extra long vanity and a tub/shower combo. There are four comfortable, private guest bedrooms on this floor, each with its own private bath. One features a King bed, flat panel TV, ocean view, private access to the glassed in porch and a bath with tub/shower combo. The two other guest bedrooms also have King beds, TV's, private access to the covered porch and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. The last guest bedroom on the main floor has a Queen bed, flat panel TV, and a private bath with a tub/shower combo.

The large, well equipped, eat-in gourmet kitchen boasts a professional Viking gas range with hood, 2 dishwashers, side-by-side fridge plus additional full fridge and washer/dryer in the pantry, warming drawer, and built-in wall oven with microwave. The pub table with 4 chairs offers a casual breakfast or snack spot. The spacious dining area is complete with a wet bar with sink and ice maker and a table that seats 8 plus an additional table that seats 4. The large living room features comfortable seating, ocean view, entertainment system with large flat panel TV/DVD/CD player and full access to the glass enclosed porch with panoramic views of the private pool, beach and ocean.

The sixth bedroom is located in the open loft area and includes 2 Twin beds, huge flat panel TV/DVD/VCR, a Queen sleeper sofa and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. This is a great area to devote to the children and teens so they have their own separate space.

The convenience of an elevator helps those who may need assistance with stairs and makes bringing bags and groceries in an ease.
Those who are lucky enough to stay here, will have a lovely, accommodating house with all the conveniences of home and then some!

    There were ten adults that vacationed at this quaint and well planned house. The touches of designer splashes were unique and very visual. The layout of the house was conducive with Its one floor circular plan. There were entrance steps but an elevator was available if you chose to ride it. Most of all the ocean view was spectacular. An enclosed expanded porch with expansive ocean views was made possible by the window design. There is so much about this house that will enhance your vacation experience.
    There were minor repairs to be attended to and the maintenance staff diligently obliged to the request.
    Unfortunately we loved the house so much that we only left to do grocery shopping, nails, yoga, church and a round of golf. 90 percent of the time was spent at the house. Shopping, a past time of some in the group didn't even rate next to the desire and comfort of being in this house.

    This was a great experience in every aspect. Tammy was very professional and helpful. The house is in a great location away from the big crowds near town and Wild Dunes. The house itself wasn't so fancy that you were afraid to take your eyes off the grand kids. It was just a perfect place for all of us. We had 8 adults and 4 kids (ranging in age from 2 to 8). There were plenty of spacious bedrooms and the loft was an awesome place for the grand kids.
    The kitchen was great...double dishwashers (one needed repair), two refrigerators, a great stove, and plenty of storage...including storage containers!
    The bar was excellent...complete with an icemaker and plenty of the right kind of glasses.
    The front room...absolutely wonderful...great view of the ocean, viewing the ships going in and out of Charleston harbor,and the wildlife.
    The pool...Awesome! Wonderful lounge chairs, tables and seating. Perfect for kids and adults!
    The bathrooms...How nice for everyone to have their own bathroom...even the kids in the loft!
    On a constructive would have been nice to have plastic dishes of children and beach towels.
    Everything was simply perfect. We'll be back...there is no need to look further!

    We stayed in this house last summer and like the house and island and surrounding area that we decided on a return trip this year.
    This house was a great size for us. It had a great floor plan~having a full bath in every bedroom. We liked the two sitting areas in the house. The large deck was used nightly. The pool was nice for late afternoon dips. The kids liked the night swimming. An added bonus was having 4 beach chairs provided by the rental company! This home is older but well maintained. Ran out of propane for the grill and a new bottle was delivered! One issue is the stairs to the walkway needs to have lights! The walkway has lights but the stairs are very hard to descend for adults and children.

    Our party of 14 women gathered here for work retreat. The space was perfect. The home feels like home! The bedroom/bath situation worked beautifully, the floor plan with the central gathering space and HUGE sun porch offered us meeting/work area with gorgeous inspiring view of ocean, and we even hired a yoga instructor who conducted our session on the outdoor deck. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars!

    Had a great time. Good weather all week. Short walk to the beach and a terrific pool. Plenty of room for our family of 12. WiFi worked well. The enclosed porch was terrific...we spent a lot of time together there. They outdoor porch was also useful.

    our family had a terrific time relaxing at 4-48th. The location was perfect for beach activities, not secluded but not in an overly busy area. The property was well maintained even though a little dated. The layout provided ample room for 3 generations. My only wish was the beds in the loft were bigger (all of our college age kids are very tall!).We enjoyed the pool, the beach and games provided in the house. Too bad this house will be moved to another location.

    A great location with close beach access and a nice pool. Needs a few updates such as electrical outlets , but was great for 4 kids between 9-11 sleeping in the loft. Kitchen is small, but well equipped. Overall, this is a nice home for a family vacation. I would rent again, if available next summer.
